Marijuana should stay ILLEGAL!

I think marijuana should always be illegal in Honduras and in the rest of the world. Marijuana can be a serious threat to the economy of many families in Honduras. Moreover, the abuse of Marijuana can lead to serious physical problems. Also, marijuana can seriously affect the opinion of people toward other drugs and may open the legalized process for other drugs as well.

Some important information to know about marijuana: “When pot is smoked, the body absorbs between 10-25 percent of the THC that it contains. The amount required to experience a high is relatively small, at only 10 mg. THC doesn't leave the body immediately after the joint is smoked. A certain amount (approximately 30-40 percent) of the THC is stored in the individual's body fat. It takes between four and six weeks for the THC to be undetectable in the marijuana user's bloodstream.”
This clearly demonstrates all the traumatic effects that marijuana has towards the human body. If marijuana is legalized, people will suffer more of these effects.

The Legalization of marijuana would make the substance a lot easier to get, for example today you need to find a drug dealer which are very few that are running the risk. If legalized the access towards the drug will be much simpler to get. Addicts will start to throw their money away in these drugs, making world hunger and poverty a much serious problem.

More of these problems with the addicts are that, the “Junkies” will stop producing for their families and will indebt in order to get the drug. All these economical problems can lead into problems within the social stability of the families and the National economy.  If a common worker gets the hang of marijuana as a daily basis thing they will stop producing, getting themselves fired. This leads to lack of productivity and increase the percentage of unemployment in Honduras.
