METH

Meth is a dangerous epidemic that is spreading like a virus around the world.  Although it was once used for war purposes, nowadays its recreational use is fatal and devastating to not only its users, but also the friends and family of these drug addicts.  A solution should be found in order to put a stop to the use of meth, but what is a possible resolution to this problem? The only solution is to educate the general population about the hazardous effects of methamphetamine, such as this video did for me and my peers.

If educators target the younger populations of society to receive an education about the harmful effects of Meth, such as brain damage, violent behavior, addiction, and malnutrition, to name a few, then perhaps a decrease in the use of the drug may be seen in the future.  I cannot see why anyone would begin using the drug if they truly understood the effects that would occur to their brains, bodies, and personalities.  Although all drugs cause harm to the human body, meth is the most dangerous. And because its use has not escaped any social class, sex or age, it is the drug that we as a society should increase awareness of the harm that can be caused in order to stop, or at the very least attempt to decrease, the use of methamphetamine.
